Paid Time Off

Time off is important. It provides each of us with a chance to take time away from work, spend time with family and friends, and relax and recharge. At Kindred, we know our team members value time off, and we want to make sure you have every opportunity to make the most of it.

Kindred offers a flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) program that allows you to use the time for whatever your needs may be.

The program also offers paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Other paid time off such as Funeral Leave, Jury Duty, Military Training and Military Leave is available to employees who meet specific qualifications.

Transit/Commuter Benefits

The Transit/Commuter Benefits program lets you set aside pre-tax dollars from your paycheck to help pay for monthly mass transit costs. Your coverage is effective the first day of the month following 30 days of continuous employment. If the 30th day is the first day of the month then coverage is effective on that day.

Identity Theft Protection

Get peace of mind by protecting yourself against the damage of identity theft. Services include:  

  • Monitoring your identity
  • Detecting fraud
  • Restoring your identity in the event of theft

Certified privacy advocates act on your behalf to resolve identity theft issues. Your coverage is effective the first day of the month following 60 days of continuous employment. If the 60th day is the first day of the month then coverage is effective on that day.

Legal Benefits

  • The Legal Assistance Plan offers affordable access to attorneys for legal services such as will preparation, estate planning, and family law.
  • Gives yourself, your spouse, and your dependents access to a nationwide network of 13,000 attorneys.
  • Legal advice is a phone call away, and representatives will help you find an attorney in your area.

  • The plan gives you access to personal insurance policies, including home*, landlord’s rental dwelling, condo, recreational vehicle, and boat

  • Provides coverage to help you cover the costs of veterinary care
